Rocky Oliver
A wizened veteran of Lotus technologies, Rocky Oliver began his “Lotus geek” existence with Lotus Development’s Word Processing Division in 1992. Since then he has led the development team of a large, national consultancy, opened a new branch for a startup, started his own company, and along the way found time to conceive five great kids (with a little help from his wife ;) ). Rocky writes quite often, most notably co-authoring 'Teach Yourself LotusScript for Notes/Domino 4.6' (MIS Press, 1997). Rocky has a new book coming out in April 2003 - 'Notes and Domino 6 Programming Bible' (Wiley) - a book he coauthored with noted XML expert Brian Benz. He is also a technical editor and writer for Lotus ADVISOR magazine, and a writer for WebSphere ADVISOR magazine. Rocky loves to share his knowledge and experience by speaking often at IBM and Lotus technology conventions including Lotusphere, IBM DeveloperWorks Live, and ADVISOR Devcon.
