Dr. Mary Beth Raven and Chris Reckling would like to use the conference to talk Domino administrators and to get their feedback. Several appointments for "interviews" are offered on Wednesday (duration approx. 30 minutes).
If you would like to participate as dialog partner, please register with the form below. Please note the preferred time slot in the field "Remarks".
These are the topics:
- ID and Password management
- Archiving/Mail Quota management
- General "What's it like to be a Domino Admin"
Statements concerning the following aspects are of interest, e.g.:
Does your company have mail quotas?
If so, are the quotas the same for all employees?
If quotas are not the same, how is it determined?
What are the mailfile quotas?
Are there quotas for individual mail messages?
Do you require people to archive their mail?
If not, do some people do it anyway?
If so, is it on an individual basis or centrally controlled by admin?
Once something is archived, how do people find it again?
Are there specific rules you need to follow for saving mail based on government regulation or compliance?
What gets saved and what gets deleted? Is it determined by type of information or just by size?
How do you handle attachments?
What can Notes do to help with mail management?
How does Notes meet your requirements?
What are the top 3 mail management issues for your organization?
Does Notes work well for those?
If not, what could Notes do differently?
The interviews will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2007.
