Ed Brill

Ed Brill is Director, Product Line Management, IBM Collaboration Solutions. In this position, Brill and his team are responsible for the product and market strategy for IBM's messaging, collaboration and productivity products, including Lotus Notes and Domino, IBM SmartCloud Notes, IBM Sametime, Lotus Symphony, IBM Docs, and other related social business software solutions. Brill's focus is on extending and growing the success of these software solutions through customer engagement, partner ecosystem, and leveraging the breadth and depth of the IBM organization. In eighteen years at IBM, Ed Brill has held a variety of sales, marketing, and product-related leadership roles. Brill has visited IBM customers in over 35 countries. Ed also authors a weblog on collaboration at www.edbrill.com, widely recognized for its reach into the collaboration software community and beyond.

Kevin Cavanaugh
(IBM Corporation)
Kevin Cavanaugh is Lotus's Vice President for Business and Technical Strategy. He is responsible for the business and technical strategy of IBM's collaboration business. For the past 9 years as Vice President of the Notes and Domino business Cavanaugh has had engineering and business responsibility for the company's Notes and Domino products and for the client technologies that are used by those products. He has also managed the company's Advanced Collaboration product development teams and the International Product Development organization with development centers in Dublin, Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul, Taipei and Singapore. Cavanaugh's experience in the Far East also includes management positions as a consulting engineer and manager for Distributor Operations where he developed and supported new distributors in Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He is currently on the board of the Boston CyberArts Festival and was previously on the board of the Unicode Consortium.

Maria Gomez
(IBM)
Maria Gomez ist seit Januar 2013 Director für die Bereiche Industry Solutions und Social Business der IBM Deutschland. In dieser Position ist sie verantwortlich für Pre-Sales, Sales und Support aller Lösungen aus diesen Bereichen. Maria Gomez arbeitet seit fast 20 Jahren in verschiedenen Positionen für IBM, zuletzt war sie drei Jahre lang Bereichsleiterin Social Business und Collaboration Solutions in Deutschland. Davor war sie als Vertriebsleiterin für Versicherungen in Norddeutschland für die IBM Software Group zuständig und hat dort unter anderem globale Strategien für den deutschen Markt umgesetzt und neue Geschäftsfelder entwickelt. In den Jahren 1999 bis 2007 hatte die studierte Betriebswirtin verschiedene Positionen in der IBM Systems & Technology Group inne.

Klaus Höling
(Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG)
Klaus Höling ist seit 1998 bei Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG als Leiter IT für die Gruppen-IT verantwortlich. Zuvor war Klaus Höling als Leiter IT Nordeuropa und zuletzt als IT-Verantwortlicher für Gesamteuropa insgesamt sieben Jahre bei einem amerikanischen Konzern in der internationalen Lebensmittelbranche tätig. Davor war er bei einem Unternehmen im Anlagenbau als Leiter Organisation und Datenverarbeitung beschäftigt. Seine Karriere startete in einem Zeitungsverlag und einer Druckerei, wo er verschiedene Positionen in der IT, vom Operator und Programmierer bis zum stellvertretenden Leiter IT, Organisation und Controlling, innehatte.

Prof. Dr. Michael Koch
(Universität der Bundeswehr München)
Prof. Dr. Michael Koch hat die Professur für Programmierung kooperativer Systeme an der Fakultät für Informatik der Universität der Bundeswehr München inne und leitet dort die Forschungsgruppe Kooperationssysteme (Cooperation Systems Center Munich, CSCM). Seine Schwerpunkte in Forschung und Lehre liegen in der interdisziplinären und praxisorientierten Unterstützung von Zusammenarbeit in Teams, Communities und Netzwerken und dabei speziell in Aspekten der Anforderungsanalyse und Einführung, der Softwarearchitektur sowie ubiquitärer Benutzungsschnittstellen.

Maureen Leland
(IBM Corporation)
Maureen Leland is the Lead Architect for IBM Lotus Domino Designer, bringing the power of the Eclipse platform to Domino development. She has worked on Lotus design tools since 1992, beginning with Lotus Notes ViP, and moving to Iris to work on Domino Designer in 1997, where she contributed to the 4.6, 5.0, 6.0, 6.5, and 7.0 Domino Designer releases. She was the UI architect for the IBM Workplace Designer releases and Lottus Component Designer releases. She returned to Domino to revolutionize Domino Designer for the 8.5 release and beyond. At home, Maureen is the mother of six sons, and likes to spend time with her family and four field spaniels on Martha's Vineyard. Maureen has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and an M.A. and Ph.D. Candidacy in Chemistry from Boston University, Boston, MA.

Prof. Dr. Ludwig Nastansky

Prof. Dr. Ludwig Nastansky ist Emeritus für Wirtschaftsinformatik am Groupware Competence Centers (GCC) der Universität Paderborn. Seine aktuellen Aktivitäten erstrecken sich auf Consulting-, Vortrags-, Forschungs-, Entwicklungs- und Projekttätigkeit im Bereich des computergestützten Informations- und Wissensmanagements in innovativen IT-Szenarien, die vom e-Business bis zum privaten Sektor reichen, mit Schwerpunkten bei kollaborativen Systemen. Der Autor von zahlreichen wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und Entwicklungsprojekten von Software-Frameworks ist Gründungs- und Ehrenmitglied der DNUG. Er ist Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates der PAVONE AG in Paderborn. Als ständiger Gastprofessor am Chinesisch-Deutschen Hochschulkolleg der Tongji-Universität in Shanghai realisiert er zusammen mit seiner Frau Dr. Pei Wang-Nastansky Technologietransferprojekte in China. Im September 2008 wurde ihm von IBM der weltweit ausgeschriebene "IBM Faculty Award" verliehen.

Prof. Dr. Joachim Niemeier

Prof. Dr. Joachim Niemeier ist Executive Consultant bei der centrestage GmbH und Honorarprofessor an der Universität Stuttgart. Langjährige Führungserfahrung und die Erfahrung aus vielen Veränderungs- und Einführungsprojekten sind seine Basis als Berater und Coach für Wirtschaftsunternehmen und Verwaltungen. Sein besonderes fachliches Interesse liegt in den Bereichen Business Excellence, Enterprise 2.0 und dem Innovationsmanagement.

Sascha Pallenberg
(Blogger & Consultant)
Sascha Pallenberg ist Blogger und Consultant, lebt in Taiwan und betreibt die beiden Blogs Netbooknews.de und Netbooknews.com. 2010 erhielt er neben Branchengrößen wie Walt Mossberg und David Pogue den „Top 20 Smart Mobile Device Pundits“ von Freescale und wurde in die Liste der 20 einflussreichsten Mobile-Computing-Experten weltweit gewählt (welches er 2011 als einziger Europäer wiederholte). Unter Meetmobility.com betreibt er in Kooperation mit Steve Paine und Juuso Huttunen einen zweiwöchentlichen Podcast rund um „Mobile Computing“.

Louis Richardson
(IBM)
Louis Richardson serves as an IBM Worldwide Social Business Evangelist. In this role, he has the opportunity to meet with executives and business managers who have interest in leveraging social software in their organizations. Some are just starting out while others are well on their way. And in every case these conversations have provided Louis with a broad exposure to the practical and business relevant impact that social software is having on today's businesses. While the topic of social business can be complex, Louis' conversational and story-telling style relates well to non-technical audiences. He enjoys sharing his experiences and observations in conferences, workshops and through social communities and blogs.

Prof. Dr. Petra Schubert
(Universität Koblenz-Landau)
Seit dem Herbst 2006 hat Prof. Dr. Petra Schubert die Professur für betriebliche Anwendungssysteme an der Universität Koblenz-Landau inne. Von 2009 bis 2011 war sie dort beurlaubt und arbeitete an der Copenhagen Business School in einem internationalen Forschungsprojekt (www.3gERP.org) an der Entwicklung der nächsten Generation von ERP-Systemen. Im Jahr 2005 verlieh ihr die Universität Basel die „venia docendi“. Bis 2006 war sie verantwortlich für die Forschung im Competence Center E-Business der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW und erste Leiterin des Instituts für Wirtschaftsinformatik (IWI). Sie leitet das im April 2011 offiziell eröffnete IBM University Competence Center für Collaborative Technology (UCC-CT). Im DNUG Beirat setzt sich Frau Prof. Schubert für Belange der Hochschulen ein.

Nicole Simon
Nicole Simon hilft Unternehmen Social Media zu verstehen, die Möglichkeiten realistisch einzuschätzen, pragmatisch intern oder extern umzusetzen sowie Mitarbeiter zu trainieren. Dabei ist sie nicht nur im Netz zuhause, sondern hat auch langjährige Erfahrung im Großunternehmen. Sie ist außerdem Autorin des erfolgreichen Praxisbuchs „Twitter – Mit 140 Zeichen zum Web 2.0“.
