Call for Abstracts for the DNUG Spring Conference 2012 on June 12-13As the agenda for the DNUG Spring Conference 2012 has already been fixed, no further proposals for presentations can be accepted. But you are very welcome to hand in your proposals for future events. The information below can be used as guidance.
Submit Your Abstract by December 2, 2011
DNUG is calling for abstracts for consideration to present at the next DNUG Conference.
Abstracts from end user companies are especially welcome.

What makes your topic suitable for the attendees of the conference / the Social Business Day?
What is the concrete project behind the presentation?
Which questions led to the project?
Why was this way chosen?
Which challenges did you face?
Which lessons learned would you like to pass to the attendees?
What happens next?

3. Additional Information
- the objective of the presentation
- the benefit for the attendees
- the background knowledge required of the attendees
- the technical level of the presentation
- the type of presentation (live presentation, hands-on training, theoretical lecture, practical experience report, etc.)
Speaker(s)

Note
Before handing in your proposal, put yourself in the place of the potential conference attendees:
- Do you feel addressed by your phrases?
- Would you attend the presentation / select it from a list of parallel offers?
If your proposal is accepted, the above mentioned additional information (3.) will be printed in the conference brochure together with the title. Title, additional information and abstract will be published on the DNUG web site as information for potential attendees.
CVs, exceeding the limit of 60 words, will be edited. Ask yourself what you would like to know of other speakers!

TIME Available for the Presentation
45 min in total, thereof
- 30 min for presentation
- 15 min for introductory and concluding moderation as well as Q&A
We kindly ask you to point out differing requirements. |

GENERAL TERMS for Conference Attendance as Speaker
On the day of his presentation, the speaker can attend the conference free of charge.
Two speakers are admitted per presentation.
For attendance of the entire event, 50 % of the according conference fee will be charged.
Each speaker has to bear himself the expenses for his travel and accommodation. |
