University InitiativeThe DNUG University Initiative, founded in 1998, exists to encourage scientific work on IBM collaboration solutions and related systems and technologies.
DNUG directly aims at the young groupware generation by:
- Informational events for universities
- DNUG’s participation at university conventions
- Awards for outstanding theses on groupware technologies
- Discounts on membership and conference fees for students and universities
- Offering conference sessions and the accompanying exhibitions as a platform for presentation of projects
