Guided Walking Tour through the City Center
05:00 - 07:00 p.m.
Bremen is a 1.200 year old hanseatic town with a lot of tradition and international relations. Let yourself be guided through the enchanting city center by an experienced guide and learn a lot about its lively history and its people.
History has woven a rich tapestry of Hanseatic heritage and cosmopolitan culture in Bremen. The magnificent architecture that radiates from the distinct Weser Renaissance town hall and the graceful Roland statue at the Market Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004), the city’s oldest quarter Schnoor, the exceptional structures in the historic street Böttcherstrasse and the imposing cathedral are etched in history. The delightful sculpture of the Bremen Town Musicians remains a defining monument for the Grimm Brothers’ celebrated fairy tale.
Meeting point: Maritim Hotel Bremen (Hollerallee)
End of the tour: Market Square
