 | Kevin Cavanaugh (IBM Corporation) Kevin Cavanaugh is Lotus's Vice President for Business and Technical Strategy. He is responsible for the business and technical strategy of IBM's collaboration business. For the past 9 years as Vice President of the Notes and Domino business Cavanaugh has had engineering and business responsibility for the company's Notes and Domino products and for the client technologies that are used by those products. He has also managed the company's Advanced Collaboration product development teams and the International Product Development organization with development centers in Dublin, Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul, Taipei and Singapore. Cavanaugh's experience in the Far East also includes management positions as a consulting engineer and manager for Distributor Operations where he developed and supported new distributors in Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He is currently on the board of the Boston CyberArts Festival and was previously on the board of the Unicode Consortium. |
 | Thomas Heinemeyer (Amway GmbH) Thomas Heinemeyer ist European E-Business Manager bei Amway. Er ist seit April 2006 im Amway Unternehmen, wo er zunächst Europäische IT Strategy & Controlling Aufgaben übernahm; seit Juli 2007 leitet er das Europäische E-Business für Amway. Zu seinen Hauptaufgaben zählen die Standardisierung und Harmonisierung des E-Business in 26 Märkten, sowie die Entwicklung einer globalen E-Business Strategy. Herr Heinemeyer lebte von 1992-2006 in den USA, wo er als Unternehmensberater bei KPMG LLP als Architekt und Programm Manager tätig war. In den 90er Jahren spezialisierte er sich auf SAP Implementierungen im Konsumgüterbereich. Mit der einsetzenden Dot-Com Welle erweiterte er sein Tätigkeitsfeld mit E-Business Lösungen im Finanzsektor. Anfang 2003 übernahm Herr Heinemeyer die technische Leitung des Investment Bereichs einer mittelständischen US Bank. Seit April 2006 ist Herr Heinemeyer wieder in Europa. |
 | Maja Kumme (IBM Deutschland GmbH) Maja Kumme ist seit Januar 2008 IBM Direktor für Lotus Software und in dieser Position verantwortlich für Pre-Sales, Sales und Support aller Lotus Produkte in Deutschland. Davor war sie von 2005 an als Manager Sales Operations für die Vertriebssteuerung und Geschäftskontrolle der IBM Software Group zuständig und dabei an den Transformationsprozessen der IBM Deutschland beteiligt. In den Jahren zuvor hatte Maja Kumme verschiedene Positionen in der Software Group inne, unter anderem als Manager in SW Marketing und als Executive Assistant des Vice President Software Group EMEA Central Region. Maja Kumme kam in 2001, im Zuge der Akquisition von Lotus, zur IBM Deutschland und verantwortete bei Lotus das Service Geschäft in Norddeutschland. Frau Kumme studierte in Paderborn Mathematik und legte 1994 ihr Diplom ab. |
 | Brent Peters (IBM Software Group) Brent Peters is the Vice President with IBM Lotus. The portfolio of products that he is responsible for include: Notes/Domino, DWA, Lotus Symphony, Forms, DAMO, and Expeditor. Mr. Peters has been with the Lotus organization since February of 2005, starting as Director of Development for the Lotus Notes 8 client; engaging up front with the strategy and development of the Lotus Hannover (Notes 8) project. Prior to this position Mr. Peters held positions as Director of IBM's Corporate On Demand Software Development, as well as being the lead development manager over the WebSphere Application Server from releases 2.X through 5.X. Prior to his management roles, Mr Peters spent 10 years as a developer in Unix Operating Systems and Application Middleware (Component Broker/WebSphere). Mr. Peters is a graduate from the Texas Christian University in 1986 and has been with IBM since May 1991. |
 | Bob Picciano (IBM Corporation) As general manager for Lotus software, Bob Picciano has oversight for an extensive portfolio of collaboration tools designed to empower people to be more effective, responsive and innovative within the context of the work they do. It includes email, calendar, instant messaging, electronic forms, web conferencing, portals, team spaces, business dashboards, document management, and social software. He is also a member of IBM’s Integration and Values team – a select group of executives who provide guidance across IBM on various business and strategic issues. Prior to becoming general manager, Mr. Picciano was vice president, worldwide sales, Information Management, Software Group. He was responsible for sales and operations for the Information Management portfolio, a multi-billion dollar product set that is sold in over 130 countries. Bob had previously been vice president for Data Servers, responsible for business line performance of IBM’s highly successful database portfolio of software products including DB2, Informix IDS, Cloudscape, RedBrick, and XPS. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Picciano led the worldwide development and support of DB2 Linux, Windows and UNIX platforms as vice president of Database Technology while on international assignment at the IBM Toronto Software Development Lab in Markham, Canada. Over the course of his twenty year career at IBM, Mr. Picciano has held numerous management and executive positions including Technical Assistant to IBM Chairman and CEO Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. and IMS Family product manager, where he also managed the Santa Teresa laboratory development technologies team, providing centralized development, test and product packaging services to the lab’s development teams. Mr. Picciano holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University. |
 | Craig Roth (Burton Group) Craig Roth - Emphases: Enterpriseportals, content globalization, collaborative applications, attention management&Over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Research agenda focused on the organizational, financial, and governance issues around knowledge and collaboration infrastructure with a special focus on enterprise portals, content globalization, and information overload. Mr. Roth has 10 years of experience as an analyst advising Global 2000 organizations on best practices related to knowledge infrastructure, web architecture, and website development and design. Prior to becoming a research analyst, Mr. Roth was co-founder of a software company and worked eight years at a Fortune 500 financial services company creating and managing executive information systems, call center systems, and advanced technology projects. Duties included coding, analysis, project management, and management. Primary Distinctions: Rated as a top 10 expert in portals and web services by an independent analyst rating firm. Mr. Roth is a frequent speaker at industry events and often quoted by media sources. Written work includes over 140 papers on technology trends, best practices, and market analysis as well as articles for ENT Magazine and .NET Magazine.
