Preliminary Preparations before the ConferenceApart from the technical preparation for your certification test, we kindly ask you to check your account (user name) with the testing provider or to create a new account.
This will enable you to start your test at the conference without any delay. Please bring along access data.
Certification tests are only offered via Prometric.
If you have already taken a certification test with Prometric, you should have a testing ID and a user name.
If this is your first certification test or the first with Prometric, you have to create a new account.
Please go to the following site: http://ibt.prometric.com/ibmtesting
Select the preferred language for the registration. The testing itself will be in English only.

Please click on "Secure Sign-in" and register. If you have forgotten your password use the option "Username/Password Recovery".
If you can't recover your ID with any of the options or via the helpdesk, create a new account.
If everything is right, you will get to the site of the originally selected brand. Press "Continue", the following site will appear:
Check your profile under "Update My Information". That's all! Please sign out using the icon in the right upper corner.
Create a new account:
Select "First Time Registration". If you have a Prometric ID (9 digits), type it. Otherwise leave the field empty. You will then get a new ID.
Select an appropriate program under "Step 2". Make sure to select a program ending with "Certification". The program, within which you will take most certification tests, will be most suitable (here "Lotus and WebSphere Portal certification").
Accept the following agreement and fill in your data. You can select the user name freely. Please make sure to keep user name, password and testing ID.
Using "Submit" all data will be taken over. If everything is all right, the site of the chosen software brand will be shown. Pressing "Continue", you return to the "Main Menu" (see above).
