The session discusses how IBM Workplace Managed Client extends the value of Workplace server products with a wide range of ready-to-use IBM rich client collaboration and productivity applications, and enabling the creation of 3rd party rich client applications. We will cover the IBM Workplace strategy, other IBM related offerings, a technology overview, and IBM's rich client applications. We will also review how Workplace Managed Client integrates existing IBM Lotus Notes applications and how it relates to the next version of the Lotus Notes client, code-named "Hannover". We'll also highlight some of the initial set of customers that are using IBM's rich client applications, and the market opportunity for custom "rich client" applications and where.
