Sametime 7.5 demonstrates the value of real-time collaboration to IBM. The new 7.5 client is not only a word-class out of the box experience for the end user - helping the end users become more productive every day, but also offers the new client as an extensible real-time collaboration platform. The new Sametime 7.5 client is now an extensible eclipse-based environment that makes it easy for our customers and partners to easily develop and add the features and build the solutions that their users require. The realize this ability to add value and solutions, there is a set of Sametime Services and Components with well defined extension points partners and customers can leverage. One excellent example of this extensibility is the integration of telephony into Sametime that is being developed exclusively by our telephony business partners.  
This session will give an overview of the new platform architecture and the new services and APIs that can be leveraged.
