Basic Notes/Domino connectivity to SAP has been available for several years with the Lotus Connector for SAP. With the recent release of Notes access for SAP Solutions, however, IBM has for the first time delivered a useful set of packaged solutions that use Notes (v7.x) as the front-end GUI for various SAP business processes. The featureset is delivered with fully "open" LotusScript and Template code, so that customers, ISVs and Business Partners can tweak the UI and/or the data models at will, to "make it your own". This session provides an overview of the targeted "Suite Spots" (time reporting, vacation request, contact management, workflow integration, report generation, and so on), the overall architecture of the product, and likely customization scenarios. We'll also take a sneak peek ahead at what's planned for Hannover.
